Step 3 – Create Menus
Change to the Menu Editing View by clicking on the [2 Menu] in the application window as highlighted in the screenshot.
- Choose Background Image for your menu – select the image on the Right under [Menu Editor]; double click on the selected image to make it your menu background or you can select your own customer picture by clicking on the Add Picture Button at the bottom of the application window
- Edit Menu Display - Photo DVD Creator enable you create “Real” DVD-like menus. For each album you created in the previous step; there’s ll be a thumbnail in the Menu window corresponding to that.
Double Click the Thumbnail for an album to change the display text for that album; you can edit, format i.e. change color, font or move the thumbnail of the album about.
- Add Music – Adding background music to the menu display is similar to the previous step. Just click on the Music tab and just make sure the default mp3 file is removed from that list; unless of course you want to keep it.
- Preview – Turn the player on/off to activate/de-activate DVD player controls shown in the screenshot above to preview you immaculate production.
Step 4 – Burn to Disc
- Select the target export type – This program supports several export targets, you can
- Burn the movie straight to DVD – does exactly what it says; just make sure your PC has a DVD writer and you have a writeable disc in the drive
- Make DVD Folder or ISO – this option allows you to save a DVD
- Make an MPEG – does exactly that.
- Select your DVD Burner – if you have only one optical drive in your system it’s probably already selected by default if not make sure the one with the empty dvd disc is selected [this of course depends on what export typeyou selected in the previous step.]
- Label your “movie” with a meaning ful name. This is the name that your disc will be labelled with when you view it in “My Computer” The default name is “My Slideshow”
- Start “Burning” – Click Start to burn DVD to disc or save it to file. This might take a while depending on how many photos you added to your albums. Now might be good time to go for some coffee and thank yourself for the job almost well done.
